Benjamin Morgan and Nicole Cornacchia-Morgan are owners and operators of Mohawk Valley Monuments, LLC. Ben and Nicole are relatives and close family friends of the founding Mancini family, and maintain the same standards of superior quality and warm, attentive customer service that Mohawk Valley Monuments has always been known for.

Ben graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design. Nicole is a graduate of SUNY Cortland and SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in School Counseling.

Ben and Nicole have a commitment to excellence both academically and in their professional lives. They understand the importance of selecting the right memorial, and spend extra time to make sure you are completely satisfied with the design and layout. They have knowledge of the local cemetery rules and regulations that determine monument sizes and carvings allowed in particular sections of the cemetery.

History

Mohawk Valley Monuments, LLC was founded in 1929 by Joseph Mancini, an experienced stone cutter who immigrated to the U.S. from Italy. He later had two sons, Peter and Richard, who continued the family business. Peter had two boys of his own named Joe and Rich, who operated the firm after Peter passed away in 1991. In 2014, it was sold to Benjamin Morgan (a cousin of Joe and Rich), and Ben and Nicole Morgan have been operating the company under Mohawk Valley Monuments, LLC ever since.

Over the years, Mohawk Valley Monuments, LLC has been responsible for the erection of thousands of memorials in and around greater Utica. Mohawk Valley Monuments, LLC has completed monuments for many city, county, and civic organizations as well.
